Service Description

The Actor’s Place is teaming up with Diversionary Theatre to offer a Performance Showcase class, geared towards helping you share your storytelling and acting skills with San Diego. This six-week class will culminate in a showcase performance on the Clark Cabaret Stage at Diversionary Theatre. Actors choose a song or monologue to workshop and present. Students receive professional guidance on selecting material and preparing it for a showcase presentation. Instructors for this class are Natalie McClure and Katie Turner. In alignment with Diversionary’s mission to celebrate LGBTQIA+ voices, performers are encouraged to select material that resonates with our showcase theme, “Finding Your Voice”. Material by LGBTQIA+ artists or which explores queer themes is encouraged but not required. Come share your voice with us at Diversionary!
